I’ve always found that case studies are the easiest way to understand something relatively unknown, particularly new communications technologies. So I was pleased to find this interview with the folks at Urban Sprouts about the evolution of their blog.
Urban Sprouts is a San Francisco-based nonprofit focused on teaching young students on how to grow, harvest, prepare and eat organic vegetables from their school garden. Urban Sprouts turned to a blog as a way to get information up on the web, quickly and easily. The blog really brings Urban Sprout’s work to life as it features stories about the gardeners themselves (a recent post recounts how one group of students harvested and ate its first home-grown salad), as well as Urban Sprouts news.
