Don’t Forget to Call, or Email

Yep, you heard it right. After all my focus on online communities and social networking and blogging and this and that, don’t forget about the traditional ways to keep in touch. Email. A phone call. Even a written note.

But remember, I’m talking about a useful, timely, informative conversation or information exchange with a colleague or friend, not an email blast or poorly-targeted or focused communication.

When it comes right down to it, I think phone calls have more impact than ever, just because so much communications goes on online. Try calling when it really matters.

Thanks for the nudge from  R Craig Lefebvre on this one.
