Now is your chance to get your nonprofit video featured on the YouTube homepage, receive prizes provided by Cisco and more. But there’s more… “The DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards enable nonprofits to learn about new techniques in making nonprofit videos. The Awards are a great opportunity for organizations like yours to shine a light on their great video work, and share promising practices on how to use video to engage people in their issues and impact ,” says Michael Hoffman, CEO of See3 Communications.
When submissions close on February 29, a panel of expert judges (I’m honored to be one of them) will select four finalists in each of four categories: Best Small Organization Video, Best Medium Organization Video, Best Large Organization Video, and Best Video Storytelling (awarded to the organization that uses video to tell the most compelling, human stories). The YouTube community will vote on the best of from March 14-28, and winners will be announced on April 5.
Don’t be shy. Entering your video is a great way to test the waters, even if you’re not confident that your video is a winner. Whatever the outcome, response to your video will give you some useful feedback for your next production! Enter right now.
