I had heard that there was a problem with the "pink" campaign. I wasn't sure what it was. My personal perception was that it was "everywhere" to the point of overkill. And blocking other good causes from funding.

I represent an environmental nonprofit that is fighting a road. One of the reasons for opposing the road is that it is going near a number of schools. Plus the government's own report clearly statest that "there will be increased cancer and respiratory illnesses". It further states that there will be increased job opportunities in the health sector due to these increases.

There is growing evidence that diesel fuel and the off spray from roads reduces the learning ability of students along with increased illnesses. This makes sense because you can't learn if you are home ill or worse still in the hospitial.

An excellent article with useful perspectives for the not for profit sector. I am very pleased to have discovered Nancy's work. It has given a lot of food for thought in developing my own marketing strategies.
