Help Wanted

Three great organizations are seeking nonprofit communications experts and I wanted to share these fantastic opportunities with you. Let’s take it as a sign that the economy is looking up!

1) Colin Delany, the new Director of Online Communications and Outreach at the National Women’s Law Center, is hiring an Online Outreach Associate to help implement comprehensive marketing and outreach efforts to promote and enhance NWLC’s impact and visibility in the electronic media space. This lucky person is going to be able to learn a lot from Colin, strategic thinker and provocative blogger at e-politics.com.

2) Go mobile! Carie Lewis, Director of Emerging Media at the The Humane Society of the United States is seeking a Mobile Communications Manager to manage and grow an integrated mobile messaging, fundraising, and Web channel to reach HSUS constituents and recruit new supporters. Believe me, working with Carie will be a great opportunity to learn from the best in emerging media!

3) I don’t know the folks at The Opportunity Agenda personally but I’m a huge admirer of the organization and staff. They’re looking for the right Web Strategist to shape and implement online strategy. That’s bound to be an intriguing challenge at such a vibrant, pro-active organization.

Do let me know if you’re hiring! I’m glad to share nonprofit communications job and internship opportunities with the Getting Attention community. Just email me!

P.S. Learn how to strengthen your nonprofit’s messaging with the all-new Nonprofit Tagline Database and 2011 Tagline Report.
