The Challenge
Hot House West approached Getting Attention to help them better leverage the Google Ad Grant to grow their local music organization. They wanted to increase ticket sales for their live performances and expand community awareness of their jazz collective and educational initiatives.
While passionate about their mission, the team at Hot House West lacked the expertise and bandwidth to successfully manage the Ad Grant. They needed a trusted partner to handle the entire process—from creating an initial strategy to building and optimizing ad campaigns—while allowing them to focus on their music and community outreach.

Working with Getting Attention helped Hot House West unlock the real power of the Google Ad Grant. We ramped up their ad spend from around $350 to $7,890 per month, putting their Grant dollars to work driving ticket sales and growing their local audience. We created new campaigns and conversion actions to let Google learn more about their ideal user, and set up the account to scale visibility quickly.
That increased visibility pushed clicks from around 40 to over 1,000, sending more music lovers to their site. More importantly, conversions jumped from 35 to 122—a nearly 250% boost in ticket purchases and event sign-ups. On top of that, we kept their click-through rate (CTR) at a strong 8%, showing that the ads weren’t just reaching more people—they were reaching the right people.
With Getting Attention handling their ads, Hot House West could focus on their music and community while packing more seats at their shows and building a bigger fanbase—all without stressing over their marketing budget.
