About the Client
The Retired Police Canine Foundation (RPCF) is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting retired law enforcement and military working dogs. Founded by Tina Geraci, RPCF helps handlers cover costly veterinary care, which can average $2,000 to $3,000 annually, and advocates for housing solutions when pet restrictions arise.
Each year, over 10,000 K-9s retire, often without financial support from their agencies, leaving handlers to bear the burden. RPCF provides medical assistance, secures discounted services, and works to ensure retired K-9s are treated like service animals in housing policies.
The organization also manages the Florida Care for Retired Police Dogs Program, offering up to $1,500 in annual veterinary reimbursements. Through these initiatives, RPCF ensures these loyal working dogs receive the care and dignity they deserve in retirement.
The Challenge
The Retired Police Canine Foundation faced a critical roadblock when they were locked out of their Google Ad Grant account and unable to regain access. This left their digital outreach at a standstill.
On top of access issues, their existing campaigns were yielding no meaningful results, limiting their ability to connect with potential donors and supporters.
With their mission to provide care for retired K-9s relying heavily on public awareness and contributions, RPCF needed a complete campaign overhaul. Their goal was to revive their Ad Grant efforts, increase mission visibility, and drive more donations to support medical care and housing assistance for retired police and military dogs.

Through Getting Attention’s expertise, RPCF overcame critical barriers to maximize their Google Ad Grant and raise mission awareness.
We began by successfully recovering their account, identifying the correct admin email, and working directly with Google Support to reinstate access and verify ownership of their domain.
Following recovery, we conducted a website audit, pinpointing key areas to drive traffic and engagement. Our targeted keyword strategy combined direct and indirect terms to expand their reach. We also implemented awareness conversions, donation button tracking, and engagement timers to measure impact effectively.
With continuous optimization, RPCF’s click-through rate (CTR) reached 16%, easily clearing Google’s minimum 5% requirement to keep the Ad Grant. We introduced new tools like PMax to push their performance to an all-time high in just six months.
Before partnering with us, their account was inactive with zero results — now, they’re regularly seeing 557 additional monthly clicks, 757 conversions from engaged users, and utilizing 82% of their available Google Ad Grant to ensure sustained growth and visibility for their mission.
