Levitt Pavilion Denver came to Getting Attention with no previous Google Ad Grant account. Setting up the Grant was only the first step. The bigger challenge was one many first-time Grant recipients face: how do you effectively use up to $10,000 per month in ad spend when you’re promoting a niche, seasonal program?
Since Levitt Pavilion Denver’s concert season runs primarily from June through September, the account needed to drive strong results during those peak months while pacing ad spend strategically throughout the rest of the year.
Their priorities were to:
Get people to upgrade their tickets
Drive RSVPs for free concerts
Grow the email newsletter to keep audiences engaged year-round
Levitt Pavilion Denver hosts a free outdoor concert series that puts live music in front of the community without a ticket price in the way. It’s part of the national Levitt network, which builds public venues designed to remove cost as a barrier to seeing touring and local artists play.

With Levitt Pavilion Denver’s goals in mind, we built a strategy that helped fill seats during concert season while growing Levitt Pavilion Denver’s audience for the long run.
We identified the pages that mattered most to the account’s goals, including the summer concert series, free events, and event calendar, and built campaigns around them.
We expanded beyond the priority pages by adding campaigns for membership and support/donate to create more opportunities for revenue.
We launched Search and Performance Max campaigns as the foundation and worked closely with the client to promote individual events, like specific concerts and Yoga on the Lawn, alongside always-on campaigns.
We continuously improved targeting based on the people most likely to attend, not just search keywords. That allowed us to confidently focus ads on the Denver area while reaching audiences interested in live music and events.

Daniel specializes in Google Ad Grant strategy, helping nonprofits put the full $10,000/month in free advertising to work. Before joining Getting Attention, he spent five years at Google.
Levitt Pavilion Denver’s concert season runs June through September, so these six months span both the account’s most active stretch and its natural wind-down. During the four months the season was actually in full swing, the account averaged $9,469/mo in spend and 3,035 conversions per month. Even in the down season, the account still had healthy spend, resulting in the six-month blended average shown here.
Around the one-year mark of the engagement, we pulled a 3-month window to see how the account performs once the season is in full swing: averaging $9,536/mo in spend and 2,451 clicks/mo. RSVPs alone climbed to 3,057 over those same three months.
The account isn’t just hitting the priorities Levitt Pavilion Denver asked for. It’s also generating steady donation and membership activity every month, on top of maxing out the Grant during peak season.

The agenda is always prepared and detailed. Everything gets covered. All questions get answered and I always leave the meeting with clarity.

I love working with Daniel and Getting Attention, they’ve taken something that was a major pain and made it easy. Worth the investment.
