Select the Most Compelling Nonprofit Taglines—5 Minutes, Lots of Learning

Great Words Promoting Good Causes!

Want to learn how to strengthen your nonprofit’s taglines for the organization, an advocacy or fundraising campaign, program or special event? Or craft powerful ones if there are none already in use?

Vote now for the winners of the 2012 Taggies — the 4th round of the Getting Attention Nonprofit Tagline Awards.

63 tagline finalists have been carefully culled from the more than 1,400 taglines entries from nonprofit organizations in 14 vertical sectors from health to civic benefit.

And this round, for the first time, you’ll be invited to select the best in advocacy campaign taglines, in addition to the strongest organizational taglines in each vertical, and in program/product/service, fundraising campaign and special event categories.

Now it’s your turn to select the best!

Voting will sharpen your understanding of what works and what doesn’t message wise, and inform and inspire your organization’s voice.

Here’s what one early voter said: “What I learned most via voting is what makes the difference between effective and ineffective language,” says Susan Hanson, senior lecturer in English, Texas State University. “The process strongly reinforced my thinking on the value of simplicity and conciseness in nonprofit messaging.”

Vote now! Polls close at midnight Friday, October 5.

The Nonprofit Tagline Awards program is made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of and See3 Communications.
