About Jessica King
Jessica King is the Director at Getting Attention. An experienced digital marketer in SEO, social media and paid search, Jessica leads the sales, account management, and marketing teams at Getting Attention.
Jessica has experience working in marketing in nonprofit organizations prior to her time at Getting Attention. Most recently, she worked with organizations in the mission-driven sector to improve their organic search results.
Since launching Getting Attention in 2021, Jessica has collaborated with hundreds of nonprofits to get the most value possible from their $10,000 per month in Ad Grant funding. She helps nonprofits determine what their best path to a return on investment via search marketing is, pairs them with an experienced Google Ads manager to implement their search strategy, and educates nonprofits about search marketing through webinars and writing about the Google Ad Grant (among other topics!) around the nonprofit blog space.
She holds a master’s degree in communication from Virginia Tech, and in her free time you can find her spending time with her cats, testing a new recipe, or tearing through a good book.
